Trivia[]

The Awaken cinematic has been confirmed by Riot to be in-lore canon events. All the events of the cinematic do not happen at the same time but timeline wise still take place around the present or in the future.^[1] This ultimately confirms several events to have happened prior to this cinematic:
- Jhin travels to Piltover and has a strong enough presence to get the attention of Clan Ferros and Camille.^[2]
  - This event happened during the time frame of Zed: Issue 5.
- Riven is captured, extradited to Noxus and sentenced to life fighting in the Fleshing Arena. Draven attends one of her fights and her performance stirs his desire for glorious combat and a true fight.^[3]
  - This event is supported by Sisterhood of War (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) and Seams and Scars which revealed a group of Noxians hunting down Riven, this eventually led to Riven being taken back to Noxus.
- Start of the Second Noxian-Ionian War.^[4]
  - Sion joins the invasion efforts.
  - Irelia's resistance has a last stand near a seaside village, before being aided by Kinkou Order members such as Akali and Kennen, as well as the spiritual leader Karma and the redeemed Yasuo. This ultimately turns the tide of the battle.
