Innate: Aphelios has access to an arsenal of 5 Moonstone Weapons, created by his sister Alune. He equips two weapons at any one time, one as his main weapon and one as his off-hand. Each weapon has a unique basic attack and passive effect.

Aphelios begins the game with Calibrum Calibrum as his main weapon and Severum Severum in his off-hand, with Gravitum Gravitum, Infernum Infernum, and Crescendum Crescendum queued in reserve. The queue order can be rearranged based on weapon usage.

Innate - Moonlight: Weapons spawn with 50 Moonlight for ammunition, which is consumed on basic attacks Pix, Faerie Companion.png on-attack or to cast his abilities abilities. Abilities that cause Aphelios to attack do not cost additional Moonlight on top of their ability cost. Once his main weapon is exhausted of Moonlight, it is moved to the end of the queue and Aphelios assembles his next available weapon for 1 second to equip it from his reserve.

Innate - Weapon Master: Aphelios cannot improve his abilities with skill points. He starts the game with Phase Phase and gains access to abilities abilities at level 2. He gains access to Moonlight Vigil Moonlight Vigil at level 6, which improves automatically at levels 11 and 16. Instead, Aphelios may spend his skill points to gain Attack damage icon.png bonus attack damage, Attack speed icon.png bonus attack speed or
Armor penetration icon.png lethality.

Notes
  • The level up for the bonus attack damage, attack speed, and armor penetration have hotkeys Q, W, E, respectively.
    • Assigning points does not follow the same rules as conventional point expenditure. The quickest you can get an individual statistic to rank-6 is by assigning points at 1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 7 / 9.
  • An ammunition counter will appear to the right side of the screen at 10 or less Moonlight.
  • Abilities can still be used with less than the required amount of Moonlight, consuming all remaining Moonlight in the process.

Innate - Precision: Aphelios gains Range icon.png 100 bonus attack range while Calibrum is his main weapon. Enemies damaged by Calibrum via an ability are marked for 4.5 seconds, Sight icon.png revealing them for the duration. Aphelios' next basic attack against a marked target uses the current off-hand weapon and has Range icon.png 1800 range, bonus missile speed, and a brief cast time that lasts shorter based on Aphelios' proximity to the target.

This attack will consume the marks from all targets, dealing 15 (+ 20% bonus AD) bonus physical damage to the main target for each mark consumed. If Calibrum is the current off-hand weapon, the empowered attack uses the main weapon instead.

Aphelios cannot cast Phase Phase nor Moonlight Vigil Moonlight Vigil during Onslaught, but he is still able to move.

  • Runaan's Hurricane Runaan's Hurricane bolts will use Severum's attack animation instead of firing projectiles for Aphelios' attacks with Severum.

Upon reaching the primary target, the firebolt splits into a cone with 4 missiles behind it that deals physical damage to enemies. The firebolt deals 110% AD physical damage to the primary target and 82.5 / 110% (based on level) AD physical damage to secondary targets, reduced to 25.3 / 33% (based on level) AD physical damage against Minion icon.png minions.

After 0.25 seconds, Aphelios then fires a volley of attacks from his current off-hand weapon, dealing 100% AD physical damage and applying On-hit icon.png on-hit effects at 100% effectiveness to each locked-on enemy. The damage is affected by Critical strike icon.png critical strike modifiers. There is no Range icon.png range limit for locked-on targets.

Notes
  • The primary target can parry the firebolt, without however preventing its splitting.
    • Additional targets cannot parry it.
  • Runaan's Hurricane Runaan's Hurricane bolts will use Infernum's projectiles when Aphelios attacks with Infernum.

Innate - Arcing: Basic attacks with Crescendum hurl the blade at the target, which lingers for 0.25 seconds before homing back to Aphelios. He is unable to declare basic attacks until he retrieves Crescendum, but the attack timer is reset once caught.

Whenever Aphelios casts an ability that would require him to throw Crescendum, he instead throws a spectral Chakram at his target that similarly returns to him. Aphelios accumulates the Chakrams he catches, up to 20, which last for 5 seconds or until Crescendum is out of Moonlight. Attacks against Champion icon.png champions will refresh the lifespan on Chakrams.

Basic attacks with Crescendum are empowered to deal 0% − 164% (based on number of Chakrams) AD bonus physical damage and have a 10.67% wind up percentage, decreased to 6.67% when Critical strike icon.png critically striking. The bonus damage from Chakrams can critically strike.

Crescendum Crescendum - Active: Aphelios deploys an Playful.png untargetable lunar sentry at the target location that arms after 0.35 seconds, lasting for up to 20 seconds. The sentry attacks if an enemy gets in range, reducing its duration to 4 seconds and becoming targetable. Sentries have 6 health and take 3 damage per Ranged role.png ranged basic attack and 4 damage per area of effect abilities.

The sentry autonomously attacks the nearest Sight icon.png visible enemy in range with a clone of Aphelios current off-hand weapon at 0.8 attack speed, dealing 25 − 85 (based on level) (+ 35% − 50% (based on level) bonus AD) (+ 50% AP) physical damage. The sentry can Critical strike icon.png critically strike and benefits from Aphelios' Attack speed icon.png attack speed and Critical strike chance icon.png critical strike chance.

Sentry will cast at max range if cast beyond that.

Notes
  • Accumulated Chakrams accompany Crescendum whenever Aphelios performs a basic attack. This is merely a visual representation of the increased damage, and the separate blades are not considered separate damage sources nor Projectile.png projectiles.
  • All Chakram stacks are lost if the Crescendum projectile is destroyed (i.e Wind Wall Wind Wall, Unbreakable Unbreakable).

After 0.3 seconds of the illumination, attacks will begin raining from the sky based on Aphelios' current main weapon, dealing 100% AD physical damage and applying On-hit icon.png on-hit effects at 100% effectiveness upon each target locked-on by Moonlight Vigil. These attacks can Critical strike icon.png critically strike for (20% + 35% 35%) AD bonus physical damage. There is no Range icon.png range limit for locked-on targets.

  • Calibrum Calibrum: Applies an empowered mark that deals 40 / 70 / 100 (based on level) bonus physical damage per mark.
  • Severum Severum: If at least one enemy champion is hit, Aphelios Heal power icon.png heals for 250 / 375 / 500 (based on level).

  • The basic attacks always count as Projectile.png projectiles unless Severum Severum is being used. The lunar beam, however, may always be intercepted regardless of which weapon is in play as the main weapon.
  • Spell Shield.png Spell shield blocks the Moonlight Vigil's initial detonation damage but does not prevent the attacks from locking-on.
  • The basic attacks from Moonlight Vigil Critical strike icon.png critically strike independently from each other. Targets further away from the center of the blast are hit after a slightly longer delay. These attacks do not apply on-attack effects.
  • Changing weapons while Moonlight Vigil is in flight does not change the effect it has when it hits.

    • Moonlight: Weapons spawn with 50 Moonlight for ammunition, which is consumed on basic attacks or to cast his abilities abilities. Abilities that cause Aphelios to attack do not cost additional Moonlight on top of their ability cost. Once his main weapon is exhausted of Moonlight, it is moved to the end of the queue and Aphelios equips the next available weapon from his reserve.
    • Weapon Master: Aphelios cannot improve his abilities with skill points. He starts the game with Phase Phase and gains access to abilities abilities at level 2. He gains access to Moonlight Vigil Moonlight Vigil at level 6, which improves automatically at levels 11 and 16. Instead, Aphelios may spend his skill points to gain bonus attack damage, bonus attack speed or armor penetration.
      • Bonus Attack Damage: 4 / 8 / 12 / 16 / 20 / 24.
      • Bonus Attack Speed: 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 / 36%.
      • Armor Penetration: 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 18%.
  • Weapons of the Faithful Weapons of the Faithful (Q)
    • The active effect of Aphelios' Q.png ability varies based on his current main hand weapon.
    • The individual actives do not share a cooldown.
  • Calibrum Calibrum (R1)
    • Innate: Aphelios gains Range icon.png 100 bonus range while Calibrum is his main weapon.
    • Precision: Enemies damaged by Calibrum via an ability are marked for 4.5 seconds, Sight icon.png revealing them for the duration. Aphelios's next basic attack against a marked target uses the current off-hand weapon and gains Range icon.png global range.
    • This attack will consume all marks, dealing 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) Attack damage.png bonus physical damage per mark to the initial target. If Calibrum is the current off-hand weapon, the empowered attack uses the main weapon instead.
    • Cost: 1 Moonlight per attack.
  • Moonshot Moonshot (Q1)
    • Calibrum Calibrum - Active: Aphelios fires a bolt of energy in a line, dealing 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (based on level) (+ 60% bonus AD) (+ 100% AP) physical damage to the first enemy hit.
    • Cost: 10 Moonlight + 60 mana.
    • Cooldown: 9 / 8.25 / 7.5 / 6.75 / 6 (based on level) seconds.
  • Severum Severum (R2)
    • Basic attacks with Severum don't use Projectile.png projectiles.
    • Resurgent: Severum's attacks Heal power icon.png heal him for 8% − 25% (based on level) of damage dealt.
    • Healing from Severum in excess of Aphelios' maximum health is converted into a Hybrid resistances icon.png shield for an amount of up to 10 − 140 (based on level) (+ 6% maximum health), lasting for up to 30 seconds.
    • Cost: 1 Moonlight per attack.
  • Onslaught Onslaught (Q2)
    • Severum Severum - Active: For 1.75 seconds, Aphelios gains 20% (+ 10% per 100 AP) Movement speed icon.png bonus movement speed and autonomously performs up to 6 (+ 3 per 100% bonus attack speed) attacks over the duration to the nearest enemy, prioritizing enemy Champion icon.png champions.
    • Attacks alternate between Severum and his current off-hand weapon, each dealing 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (based on level) (+ 35% bonus AD) physical damage, 25% on-hit damage and can Critical strike icon.png critically strike. This will consume Moonlight from Severum regardless of whether the attacks are used.
    • Cost: 10 Moonlight + 60 mana.
    • Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 (based on level) seconds.
  • Gravitum Gravitum (R3)
    • Innate - Binding: Gravitum applies a 30% Slow icon.png slow that decays over 3.5 seconds.
    • Cost: 1 Moonlight per attack.
  • Binding Eclipse Binding Eclipse (Q3)
    • Gravitum Gravitum - Active: Aphelios expunges all enemies affected by Gravitum's Slow icon.png slow, dealing 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 / 110 (based on level) (+ 35% bonus AD) (+ 70% AP) Magic damage.png magic damage and Root icon.png rooting them for 1 second.
    • Cost: 10 Moonlight + 60 mana.
    • Cooldown: 12 / 11.5 / 11 / 10.5 / 10 (based on level) seconds.
    • Effect Radius: Global.
  • Infernum Infernum (R4)
    • Innate - Incendiary: Infernum deals 110% AD physical damage to the target and spray four firebolts in a cone behind them, each dealing 75 / 100% (based on level) AD physical damage to enemies hit, reduced to 34 / 45% (based on level) AD physical damage against Minion icon.png minions.
    • Critical strike icon.png Critical strikes spray eight firebolts over a X% wider cone and deal bonus damage.
    • Cost: 1 Moonlight per attack.
  • Duskwave Duskwave (Q4)
    • Infernum Infernum - Active: Aphelios unleashes a wave of energy in a cone, dealing 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 (based on level) (+ 80% bonus AD) (+ 70% AP) physical damage to all enemies hit and locking on to each of them. After a delay, Aphelios then fires a volley of basic attacks from his current off-hand weapon, one at each locked-on enemy. There is no range limit for locked-on targets.
    • Cost: 10 Moonlight + 60 mana.
    • Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 (based on level) seconds.
  • Crescendum Crescendum (R5)
    • Innate: Basic attacks with Crescendum hurl the blade at the target, which lingers for 0.25 seconds before homing back to Aphelios. He is Disarm icon.png disarmed until he retrieves Crescendum, but the attack timer is reset once caught.
    • Arcing: Whenever Aphelios casts an ability that would require him to throw Crescendum, he instead throws a spectral Chakram at his target that similarly returns to him. Aphelios accumulates the Chakrams he catches, up to 20, which last for 5 seconds. Attacks against Champion icon.png champions and epic Monster icon.png monsters will refresh the lifespan on Chakrams.
    • Basic attacks with Crescendum deal 30 / X% AD (based on number of Chakrams) bonus physical damage. The bonus damage from Chakrams can Critical strike icon.png critically strike.
    • Cost: 1 Moonlight per attack.
    • Speed: 600 (+ 75 per 10% bonus attack speed).
  • Sentry Sentry (Q5)
    • Crescendum Crescendum - Active: Aphelios deploys a lunar sentry for up to 20 seconds, reduced to 4 seconds after it starts attacking. Deploying a new sentry reduces the eldest's duration to 4 seconds. A sentry has 6 health, enemies can attack the sentry with basic attacks, dealing 2 damage per hit.
    • The sentry autonomously attacks the nearest enemy in range with a clone of Aphelios' current off-hand weapon, dealing 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (based on level) (+ 50% bonus AD) (+ 50% AP) physical damage. The sentry can Critical strike icon.png critically strike and benefits from Aphelios' Attack speed icon.png attack speed and Critical strike chance icon.png critical strike chance.
    • Cost: 10 Moonlight + 60 mana.
    • Cooldown: 9 / 8.25 / 7.5 / 6.75 / 6 (based on level) seconds.
  • Phase Phase (W)
    • Active: Aphelios switches between his main weapon and off-hand weapon.
    • Static Cooldown: 0.8 seconds.
  • Weapon Queue System Weapon Queue System (E)
    • The icon of this ability reflects the next weapon that is in reserve.
    • Active: Alune verbally notifies which weapon she will create next.
  • Moonlight Vigil Moonlight Vigil (R)
    • Active: Aphelios casts forth a lunar spotlight that stops upon illuminating an enemy champion. Alune smites the area centered on the illuminated enemy, dealing 125 / 175 / 225 (based on level) (+ 20% bonus AD) (+ 100% AP) physical damage and locking-on to each enemy hit.
    • After a delay, basic attacks will begin raining from the sky based on Aphelios' current main weapon, one upon each enemy locked-on by Moonlight Vigil. These attacks can Critical strike icon.png critically strike for (50% + 18.75% 18.75%) AD bonus physical damage. There is no range limit for locked-on targets.
      • Calibrum Calibrum: Applies an empowered mark that deals 20 / 45 / 70 (based on level) additional physical damage per mark.
      • Severum Severum: If at least one enemy is hit, Aphelios Heal power icon.png heals for 200 / 300 / 400 (based on level) health.
      • Gravitum Gravitum: Enemies are Slow icon.png slowed by 99% for the same duration.
      • Infernum Infernum: The initial blast deals an additional 50 / 100 / 150 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) physical damage. Attacks Umbra Blades.png splash in a circle instead of a cone. Enemies will take damage from overlapping areas.
      • Crescendum Crescendum: 3 additional spectral chakrams return to Aphelios from the first enemy hit, for a total of 4, on top of those from other enemies hit.
    • Mana Cost: 100 mana.
    • Cooldown: 120 / 110 / 100 (based on level) seconds.
