  • Ahri is an adult Vastaya and is over a few hundred years old.[6]
    • During her lifespan, many myths have been created about Ahri, such as the frightening stories of a Demon Fox that ravages entire villages.
      • The mythological Gatekeeper Gatekeeper, a spirit believed to guide the deceased to the afterlife during the Spirit Blossom festival, may have been heavily influenced by her.
  • Ahri is likely 167.6 cm (5’5”) high, same as her K/DA counterpart K/DA counterpart.

  • The first icon for Spirit Rush's Spirit Rush's displays Ahri without fox ears, which harkens to the time she didn't have them.

  • Ahri 아리 could've been shortened from '아리땁다' Arittabda, from stative verbal stem aritta(b)- "be beautiful" & verbal suffix -da.

  • 'Unkillable Demon King' (魔王) is Faker's notorious nickname.
    • It was bestowed to him by Cool in only the first few showings of his professional career, during a Season 3 World Championship interview.
    • In Eastern gaming and television culture, "魔王" is commonly used as a euphemism for a final or strongest enemy that requires an inconceivably high amount of skill to beat.
  • Ahri's dance expression references Faker's improvised dance for a round of Charades with his teammates in the T1 Travelers vlog series.
  • Ahri's laugh expression reimagines the many cases where Faker laughs then immediately switches to a more serious tone.[8]
    • It may additionally function as an homage to various Asian cultural norms, predominantly South Korean (Faker's home country), where hiding the inside of one's mouth, such as when laughing, is considered proper and polite.
  • The gifts Ahri holds during her joke expression are real, absurd items that Faker has received:
    • He was challenged by fans to eat broccoli if his team, SKT T1, won the 2015 World Championship, because his hairstyle at the time resembled the vegetable.[9] The team went on to claim the victory and Faker abided by his promise.
    • The cactus was given by Caps during a gift exchange in a meetup vlog of the two for entertainment content.
  • The multiple instances where Ahri is called to "rise" reference the music video for the 2018 World Championship anthem 'RISE' (ft. The Glitch Mob, Mako, The Word Alive) where Ambition (portraying Jarvan IV Jarvan IV) needs to overcome Faker (portraying Ryze Ryze) standing before him as the ultimate adversary before claiming the trophy.
  • ▶️   "ALL ROADS LEAD TO ME!" directly quotes Faker's response to Ruler in the 2023 World Championship teaser for their match day, themed around the Irworobongdo screen that Faker completes as the royalty on their throne.
  • ▶️   "So, the rumors are true... Legends never die." is the title of the 2017 World Championship anthem 'Legends Never Die' (ft. Against The Current).
  • Faker himself performing his signature move as shown in the emote can be viewed here. Presenters James "Dash" Patterson and Joshua "Jatt" Leesman in the analyst desk after the opening ceremony declared that the cheer for Faker during the moment of his presentation was the loudest they have ever heard in a live game.

    • The concept art for this skin was leaked prior to her release.
    • She references the magical girl genre of anime.
    • ProfileIcon3019 Kiko, Ahri's new familiar spirit, floats over her hand instead of her default orb default orb.
      • Kiko is the embodiment of her charming and sassy personality.
      • They may be named after Bloom's bunny pet, Kiko, from the Winx Club series.
    • Her voice-over was inspired by the queen bee and popular girl stereotypes.
      • Her laugh is a direct reference to the famous stereotypical Noblewoman laugh, generally used by people who are arrogant and show signs of superiority towards others.
    • Ahri turned unfriendly and cold after losing her teammates from a former team in battle.
      • She keeps three star gemstones belonging to those deceased Guardians; yellow, mint, and blue. They appear surrounding Kiko, whenever she uses her Fox-Fire Fox-Fire and during her death animation.
    • Her dance references “Magical Girl” by Orange Caramel, as well as “Cheer Up” and “Signal” by Twice.
