World Adventures are shared among the playable champions in Path of Champions. Every adventure has their own difficulty level, ranging from 0.5 stars to 5 stars. Only one adventure is unlocked at the start of the game. As players progress and complete adventure requirements, more adventures are unlocked with increasing difficulty.
Champion Campaigns are for individual playable champions. To unlock them, the player must level up champion star level to the corresponding level, and pass the previous adventures in the campaign. Sadly, the development team could no longer have resources to work on these adventures. As of now, only 12 champions have 2 Champion Campaigns, with the rest having no campaigns. There is currently no plan to add more Champion Campaigns.
Weekly Adventures were introduced in V3.14 as some fun adventures for veteran players. Each week, 3 adventures with increasing difficulties are offered to players for extra rewards. Players need to progress their Legend Level in order to unlock these adventures.
Monthly Challenges were introduced in V4.3 in a Beta version with no rewards up until V4.10, the first official Monthly Challenge with rewards taking place on November 2023. They are a set of 70 micro-adventures in The Path of Champions that last for one month. The current ongoing Monthly Challenge can be found on the left side of the screen while looking at the world map. Win progress and rewards are reset every month.

World Adventures are adventures shared by all the playable champions in Path of Champions from V3.8 onwards. Players are unable to have multiple World Adventures active on the same Champion at the same time.

Twelve of the playable champions in Path of Champions have their own unique adventures. To unlock them, the player must star up their champion star level to meet the requirement and pass previous adventures in the campaign.
After the completion of a Champion Campaign adventure, following wins in the same adventure only give XP.

Weekly Adventures are adventures in The Path of Champions (Legends of Runeterra) that lasts for one week. It was first introduced in V3.14. These adventures can be found in the ocean between Noxus and Ionia and in the Journal client. Progress in weekly adventures will be retired upon weekly reset.
The 'week' changes when it is 02:00 UTC +0 (i.e. when the game's 'day' changes) on a Monday, so that'll be on Sunday evening if you're in the States. Rewards for each of the portals can be earned once per week - subsequent completions will reward only champion XP.

Weekly Nightmares[]
Weekly Nightmares are harder Weekly Adventures, with increased difficulty, from 4.5-Star to 6.5-Star difficulty and rarer rewards. In these adventures, it's very common for the Foe to have cards with
or on them. Additionally, you always start with the attack token.An Achievement quest chain, Afraid of Nothing I-IV, that is available once you’ve unlocked the third Weekly Adventure at Legend Level 15, requires you to defeat Weekly Adventures of a specific star level to unlock the next difficulty tier of Weekly Nightmares.

Monthly Challenges are a set of 70 micro-adventures in The Path of Champions that last for one month. It was first introduced in V4.3 in a Beta version with no rewards up until V4.10. Each Monthly Challenge features an exclusive champion whose shards can only be obtained by completing that month's micro-adventures, with varying mutators and difficulties. Each exclusive champion will appear in several Monthly Challenges before leaving and the next exclusive champion taking its place to give players the chance to max every one of these champions out, even if they don't fully complete every Monthly Challenge.
Challenges[]
A Monthly Challenge is made of 70 different challenges that the player needs to beat to advance through the Monthly Challenge. Each of them can have between 1 and 2 battles against bosses the player must defeat in order to complete a given challenge. At the start of the Monthly Challenge, the player has the first 3 challenges available that they can choose to embark on. Completing every 3rd challenge unlocks the 3 following challenges up until challenge 69, which only unlocks the 70th and final challenge.
Champion use limit[]
Each champion can only be used up to 3 times, win or lose. This means that players need a big collection of varied powerful champions in order to beat a Monthly Challenge in its entirety, as well as certain amount of strategy to assess which champion to use in every given chall
