As runas são um aprimoramento que o invocador pode fornecer ao seu campeão, antes de uma partida nos campos da justiça começar, buscando ampliar o poder dele. Elas oferecem benefícios extras como Dano de Ataque, Poder de Habilidade, entre outros.

Runas só podem ser compradas na Loja usando Pontos de Influência, não podendo ser compradas com Riot Points. Cada runa fornece um pequeno bônus numa categoria específica, podendo ser acumulada com outras runas do mesmo tipo para fornecer bônus maiores.

Glifos, marcas e selos acumulam-se até 9 vezes para aumentar seus efeitos, e as quintessências até 3. Comprar o máximo possível de runas de todas as Séries custaria 397.620 IP.

Tipos

Existem 4 tipo de runas (marcas, selos, glifos e quintessencias) que o invocador pode utilizar. Cada tipo possuí 3 níveis de poder, e pode conceder vários tipos de benefícios, porém cada tipo tem um foco próprio em que seus benefícios são maiores.

  • Marcas: Ofensiva.
  • Selos: Defensiva.
  • Glifos: Magica.
  • Quintessências: Geral.

Além disso, as runas podem ser classificadas como primárias ou secundárias. Todos os tipos de runas tem uma forma primária e duas formas secundárias. A aura que aparece ao redor de uma runa indica se ela é primária; Por exemplo, runas de poder de habilidade têm uma aura azul ao redor delas, caso sejam glifos primários.

Notas

Mesmo que as quintessencias tenham os máximos efeitos possíveis, só é possível ter três delas, ao contrário das marcas, dos selos e dos glifos. Isso significa que uma quintessencia deve ser igual a três ou mais runas para que ela possa ser qualificada como uma quintessencia primária. As quintessencias abaixo tem um efeito igual ou maior do que 3 runas primárias.

Séries

O Tier de uma Runa significa o nível de poder dela.

  • Série 1: São runas disponíveis em todos os níveis. São as mais fracas.
  • Série 2: É possível compra-las a partir do nível 10. Têm nível de poder médio.
  • Série 3: Podem ser compradas no nível 20. São as mais fortes.

É possível utilizar runas de Séries menores para formar runas de Séries maiores, mesmo que o invocador não esteja no nível adequado para compra-las, usando o combinador de Runas.

Uso

Invocadores são capazes de usar uma runa por nível de poder no League of Legends, e suas as runas são mantidas em um livro chamado livros de runas. Antes das batalhas começarem, o invocador poderá escolher dentre até 20 configurações diferentes de runas que ele já tenha configurado em seu livro de runas. Isto permite ao invocador ter uma escolha rápida e flexível que melhor se encaixe em qualquer campeão que ele escolher para usar na batalha.
